Compass™ Handheld Compression Assist Device
The Compass handheld compression assist device finds use in cardiac catheterization labs, interventional radiology labs, and post-interventional nursing care units in place of manual compression. Convenient and easy to clean, Compass enables practitioners to enjoy greater convenience and comfort for themselves and their patients during hemostasis. The Compass design, together with the unique shape of the SuperComfort Disc, provides a safe, effective alternative to manual compression by helping reduce hand fatigue for practitioners and enhancing comfort for patients.
The Compass System augments AVD’s well-known CompressAR® System, and uses the same sterile disposable SuperComfort™ Disc, simplifying inventory management. Departments using both CompressAR and Compass need only stock a single disposable which can be used with both techniques.
The disposable CompressAR SuperComfort Disc, used with Compass, is a well-known component of the CompressAR SuperComfort System. With its reliable Comfort Disc design, strong connector, and sure-grip stability, it helps provide a comfortable, secure hold during hemostasis.
